Dr. Linda Dejmek was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but has resided in Appleton since the age of five. She did her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin – Madison as well as the University of Wisconsin – Fox Valley and Oshkosh. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1997. She then joined her father’s optometry practice in Appleton at which time they built the Appleton Eye Clinic.

Dr. Dejmek employs other optometrists in her practice as associates. In 1996, Dr. Dejmek merged Dr. Donald Garelick’s practice with Appleton Eye Clinic. Dr. Garelick joined the practice for four years until his retirement.

Besides the Appleton Eye Clinic, Dr. Dejmek owns A B See Vision Therapy Centers in which she specializes in visually-related learning problems, sports vision, and rehabilitative optometry.

She achieved Board Certification in Developmental Vision and Vision Training in 2005 and went on to serve as a board examiner on the IECB (International Examining and Certification Board of COVD [College of Optometrists in Vision Development]).
